The Black Panther party officially dissolved in 1982 after the party membership had dwindled down to 27 and some members were moving abroad. This was important because the Party’s school had become shut down and the leader, Huey Newton, had been using the money given to the school had been used by Huey to handle his addiction. This had officially been the events that triggered the end of the movement from the Black Panther party against police brutality.
