The Black Panthers did other things to help the black community like give food to people who needed it, and open a school for children in the “ghetto”. This school was open from 1972- 1982. This school was very successful because it gave a chance for students who may not have been able to have an education get one. This school did not only teach education, they also taught practical things too.
