Jack Young, a Missourian reporter, writes and supports that violent video games cause violent and aggressive behavior in kids.When kids play online games they are given a sense of power and control and is teaching kid the wrong lesson. In his article he lists a quote from the AMA “The research demonstrates a consistent relation between violent video game use and increases in aggressive behavior, aggressive cognitions and aggressive affect, and decreases in prosocial behavior, empathy and sensitivity to aggression". This showing that proof was shown in evaluating the effects of violent games. Mr Young supports that video games do cause harmful affects and cause kids to become violent and aggressive.
