Alexander Gram Bell executed the first telephone call from New York to Chicago. He called his assistant, Thomas Watson, saying, "Mr. Watson-come here- I want to see you." This telephone call is significant because it changed technology forever, and introduced a whole new way of communication. This event is one of the many that led to the controversy of social media that we experience today.
