The Albany Movement was a movement in Georgia to desegregate public places between October 1961 until August 1962. The movement used organizations such as the SNCC, NAACP, and the SCLC to gather more momentum for the movement. The movement was considered a national failure even though many new strategies were gained and many new viewpoints were formed about how to approach the civil rights movement.
