The Black Panthers was a political organization. It was started by Bobby Seale and Huey Newton in order to challenge the police brutality that the African American community was facing. Members of the Black Panthers wore black leather jackets and black berets, and had about 2,000 members. It later declined due to tensions and deadly shootouts.Añadido al timeline:
