On Sept 15, before a church service on Sunday morning at the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, a bomb exploded. The church was a black church often used as a meeting place for civil rights leaders. Many epople were injured and 4 girls were killed.Añadido al timeline:
