al-Qaeda terrorits hijacked four planes and flew them into landmarks. Two planes hit the World Trade Center causing both towers to collapse. One hit the Pentagon and another crashed in a field. By the end of the attacks 2,996 people were killed, 343 of them firefighter in the World Trade Center.Añadido al timeline:
