Martin Luther King’s house was bombed, however his family was not hurt. He and his wife were in a room while their youngest child was in her room alone. As the bomb went off, their family was not injured, however violence erupted outside. A group of angry African Americans gathered with knives, pitchforks, and dangerous weapons, furious that one would take this step to hurt their hero, Dr. King. Dr. King calmed the group down and proceeded to tell them that violence was not, and is not the answer.Añadido al timeline:
