Riots in Minneapolis after a black woman was mistreated. The entire summer, also known as the “long hot summer” was full of racial tension and conflicts. Frustrated by the discrimination and unequal treatment, a group of African Americans ran throughout the city, vandalizing the stores and stops in town. This vandalizing, along with the violence that came afterwards lasted about three days.
