Description: The Boston Tea Party was event in which colonist resisted to the different laws about taxing by dumping boxes of tea into Boston harbor.
Significance:
1. This was the first organized resistance other that the Boston Massacre but this one lost the British lots of money because of the expense of the tea.
2. This was also significant because they were pouring tea into the harbor which is against the Church of Jesus Christ commandments and word of wisdom.
3. The last reason this was significant because this act of rebellion made them one step closser to have freedom from the British.
