Description: Paul Revere and and William Daws were sent to warn the people of Lexington and Concord. This was because the British where coming.
Significance:
1. This was significant because it helped the militia of Lexington and Concord get ready for the British (This was the first battle of the Revolutionary war).
2. This was also significance because if he would've not rode there probably wouldn't of been the revolutionary and Sam Adams and John Hancock would've been arrested.
3. The last reason was because the internetwork of the riders became a potent symbol of patriot defiance against the Brititsh rule.
