Reinforced Blackstone's Commentaries, by making clear that all English law that was applicable to Australia was in force.
Subsequent Imperial statutes would apply, but British parliamentary statutes would not. Increased the size of the legislative council, gave them a veto, and licensed trial by jury in Australia.
