Robin Baum did not give testimony in either the UK or Virginia Trial.

Her deposition transcript remains on record and no doubt a video does exists but it has never been published. Ms Baum’s responses are of interest as she was a long standing Publicist for Johnny Depp who survived his purge of The Mandels, Jacob Bloom and Tracey Jacobs.

Robin Baum has long been considered one of the most powerful publicists in Hollywood with a client list that not only included Johnny Depp but also Daniel Craig, Russell Crowe, Benicio Del Toro, Chris Hemsworth, Ryan Gosling and Jared Leto.

During 2012 rumours emerged that Johnny and Robin were dating as she was seen with him so often but this proved to be unfounded. She was also linked to Christian Carino in 2019.

Whilst it is believed that Johnny Depp remained loyal to Robin Baum he is on record as saying she did not know how to react when the media suddenly turned against him. As a result we do know that Mr Depp was employing crisis PR consultants by 2018.

In 2025 Robin Baum and her colleagues dissolved their long standing company Slate PR and some including Ms Baum went on to form a new company Apex Public Relations. It is unclear but highly doubtful that Johnny Depp remains a client.
