24 oct 1920 año - Sommerfeld House
Descripción:
A collaborative Bauhaus project designed by architects Walter Gropius and Adolf Meyer and built between 1920 and 1922, the Sommerfeld House was the first major joint project of the Bauhaus school. It was located in Berlin, Germany. The house is considered an example of German Expressionist architecture and Gropius's vision of a Gesamtkunstwerk or "unified work of art". Students from various Bauhaus workshops collaborated to create the interior design, including furniture, wall hangings, and a stained-glass window.
