"We all remember where we were during the Christmas massacre five years ago today. For some of us, we were in our homes counting the days until Christmas. Some of us were outside, blissfully unaware of the massacre that had just taken place inside our neighbor's homes. Those were the dark days for our parish, but with the strength the Lord gave us, we got through it together, using the pain of our losses to better our community. But we must never forget the souls that we lost that day, and the Godless way those poor souls suffered before they were passed over to the Lord. We will remember them."
