Jerul and Beast come across the Germa Kingdom on their journey through the calm belt. Some stragglers from the Baratie try to flee the ship but are shot and killed by Germa soldiers. In retaliation, Beast picks up and throws a giant Germa snail towards the castle. In a stroke of luck, the Germa Kingdom allows them to sail past without sinking them after some thorough negotiation from Jerul.

Jerul and Beast, having come so close to death at the hands of the Germa Kingdom, decide they can no longer drift aimlessly. Beast, realizing his anger for being a slave all this time, decides he wants to destroy the world government. Jerul agrees that he can't go on seeing such slavery and oppression and vows to help Beast destroy the world government and free all the slaves of the world. The leftover cooks from the Baratie, overhearing this, are smitten with resolve and decide to remain and join the crew as permanent members.

And so on this day, The Feastin' Pirates were born, led by Captain Jerul the Great. His Vice Captain, the strongest in all the seas, Beast, and of course, 12 of the finest sea-faring cooks to ever set sail.
