The Russians were asking the British and French to attack the Ottoman empire, so Winston Churchill plans out an attack in the Dardanelles. This battle started off with a Navy bombardment, but failed because of failed mine sweeping. After this, there was a massive infantry raid on the beaches, but had many casualties, this battle failed with another stalemate like the Western front. If this battle succeeded to the British, then the Russian and British could have a big supply line. The British had to evacuate with the first drip rifle invented to confuse the Ottoman soldiers.
