3 ene 4600000 año aC - Formation of the Earth

Descripción:

The Earth formed as a result of particles inside a solar nebula colliding and sticking together. This meant that the early Earth was in a state of immense heat, making it basically all molten lava and rock. As a result, the atmosphere contained a variety of gases such as water vapor, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and methane. This is due to the process of volcanic outgassing, which is a process in which these substances are released from molten rock during volcanic activity (1). This in turn became Earth's first version of the atmosphere, which was completely unsustainable for any form of life at the time. The geosphere was also developed during this time, creating the Earth's layers (inner core, outer core, mantle, crust) and shaping its overall geological structure. The creation of these spheres allowed for future interaction between them, altering the state of the planet.
