The Day of Tiles has been credited by historians as one of the first stirrings of the revolution. It was an event that took place in Grenoble, France. There was an outbreak of violence (workers threw tiles at the members of the National Guard who had been sent to control resistance) due to the dissolving of the Paris Parlement.
