20 Apr 2009 Jahr - Cognitive Development Excellence in mathematics (9-10 Years) My teacher in 4th grade assigns a time assignment where I must answer 100 questions in a certain time frame. She tells our class that guys normally finish before the girls. Taking this knowledge into mind, I am motivated to out pace everyone. I was pretty good at these assignments. While it is frowned upon to stereotype math skills by gender, it turns out boys and girls have similar skills in math.
