On this day, the private company known as “Mars One” announced their plan to send humans to establish a settlement in the year 2023, as a one way space mission. They have since stated that multiple aerospace companies who supply products and parts needed for such mission have come forward that showed interest in supplying Mars One for this mission. The following picture shows the company's founder.
