A timeline documenting the wrongful conviction of Romeo Phillionfrom 1967 - 2014. Romeo Phillion was a forty year old man when he was arrested in 1967 for the murder of Leopold Roy. A murder he did not commit. Five year later, after being arrested for a crime unrelated to Roy’s murder, he confessed to killing Leopold Roy. Afterward, Romeo went to court and then jail all the while sticking to his innocence.
