The Stamp Act Congress was the first meeting of elected officials between the colonies that was held between October 7 and 25, 1765, in New York City. The purpose of the stamp act congress was to create a unified protest and boycott against new British taxation. This is good for me because the british taxation is unfair and causes me to lose money. Victory for colonists
