The moment the three had been waiting subconsciously for finally came, the breaking point of optimism. Pam lashes out at Ryan for taking too long on the shared computer between the three of them and putting a picture of him and a girl in Mexico at a beach as the screensaver. Ryan then subtly states that Pam could be hot too, if she tried a little harder. That’s Pam’s last straw, she throws the bucket of cheese balls at him and exits the room dramatically. The togetherness of the company and good morale of the 12’ by 15’ office is finally crushed.
