28 дек 1764 г. - The Quartering Act

Описание:

The Quartering act of 1765 was a law passed by Britain stating that British troops had the right to be stationed in colonial homes and required the homeowners to provide for them. The colonists did not like this act and couldn’t understand why there needed to be an army when there was no threat, so when British troops arrived at New York City in 1966, they refused, and soon all the colonies were in protest except for Pennsylvania. The act expired in March 24, 1776. The act showed the colonists that Britain didn’t care for them and only cared about their own citizens and troops.
