In 327 BC Alexander the Great and his military entered India. Many tribes surrendered peacefully, but of course some did not. Roughly a year later in 326 BC., Alexander the Great met with King Porus, but they did not see eye to eye. This caused a war with elephants and thunderstorms, but ultimately King Porus was defeated.
