Siege of Tobruk (31 mar 1941 ano – 27 nov 1941 ano)

The Australians fought their first major battle, when men of the 6th division, along with other allied troops, fought Italian forces at the town of Bardia. Bardia was captured and over 40 000 Italian prisoners were taken. They then advanced west, and the 6th Australian Division captured Tobruk.
