Fidel Castro's key role happened during the weak Cuban government. During the Cuban revolution, he led the whole movement with a force and defeated the Batista forces. He overthrew them from power and took the rule of Cuba as a military leader and political leader. His communistic government gave the Nearby United States a sense of fear since they thought communism would spread.
