The French Revolution led France to a time of political turmoil. Napoleon Bonaparte was the Chief-in-Command of the French Army and a very successful one at that. He led the French Revolutionary Army to victory and then proceeded to take power for himself, contradicting the reason why they rebelled. Napoleon’s reign changed how France would set up their government, and Napoleon as a Chief-in-Command helped the French win the war tremendously.
