The Crimean War was a fight for land ownership between Russia and the Ottoman Empire, the latter being supported by France and Great Britain. It resulted in the destruction of friendly relations between the Russian and the Ottoman Empires, as well as relations between Russia and Great Britain/France. It reshaped Europe’s power structure, as the Ottoman Empire had gained land in the process, and Great Britain and France had shown how much military power they had.
