Descrição:

Louis took over the throne after Charles fled France. He was different from Charles, one difference being that he accepted the Constitutional Charter of 1814, which guaranteed civil liberties. He also adopted the French flag that remains today. Other than that, he ignored popular demands and reform, and nothing really progressed under his rule -- he disapoited much of France.
