Columbus' First Voyage (3 ago 1492 ano – 12 out 1492 ano)
Descrição:
Columbus’ first voyage marks the discovery of the new world by the Europeans. This led to the Atlantic Slave Trade, the oppression and destruction of many Native American societies, and the colonization of both North and South America by Europe. Columbus and his crew explored the Caribbean, Cuba, and Hispaniola. At the time of their arrival, they believed they were in the East Indies. Spain, who supported Columbus’ voyage, became a major exploiter of the new world and its people, using the lands of both the Incas and the Aztecs for silver and other resources. (4.1)(4.3)
