Better training for military
Black americans were rewarded with freedom if they served the british army and cause
Disadvantages:
The style of fighting that the british had couldn’t adapt to the american terrain
Even though they had the numbers in population, they could only place 162,000 troops that was less than revolutionary troops
COLONISTS:
Advantages:
They were likely to give this war their all because a lot was a stake for them
Guerilla warfare helped them (learned from native americans)
Financial support from France
Disadvantages:
Less professional force
