Life of Joram; he was born when Jehoshaphat was 28, and died when 40 years old.
He was king after his father died and reigned 8 years.

In the Bible Joram is also called Jehoram. However, to distinguish him from the king of Israel with the same name, he is called Joram in this timeline, and the other is called Jehoram.

Also note that he married Athaliah, the daughter of Omri, King of Israel. Omri was a wicked man and his daughter followed in his ways (see Athaliah's Usurpation below).
