Full-scale invasion of Cuba by 1400 American-trained Cuban soldiers in order to put an end to Fidel Castro's power. The invasion did was not successful, the American troops were greatly outnumbered by Castro's army. This event is mostly related to the concept of containment because the American government did not want Fidel Castro to continue overtaking other governments, so they invaded Cuba.
