Christopher Columbus was very significant during the age of exploration. He was an Italian explorer , navigator and a colonist. He best fits the theme of (int) interaction of Europe and the world because of what he was able to accomplish. He completed four voyages across the atlantic ocean. Which, advance and expanded society by being able to have more land. He did not quite discover american but he was able to discover handful of lands and islands.
