A Renaissance mathematician and astronomer who developed a model of the universe that placed the Sun rather than the Earth at the center of the universe: Heliocentric model. Showed order of planets, and is recognized as starting the Scientific Revolution with his book "De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium".
