Mirandola was an Italian humanist who is most famously known for writing Oration on the Dignity of Man. In his book, he detailed how he believed humans were on the same level and beyond that of heavenly bodies, explaining that he believed people's faith in God got them to heaven, and also that humans had much potetial.
