Edict of Nantes (25 jul 1598 ano – 10 jul 1685 ano)
Descrição:
The Edict of Nantes was a French royal decree establishing toleration for Huguenots, which granted worshiping/equality freedom with limits for the French Protestants and ended the French wars of Religion. With there being a change in tolerance towards the Huguenots from the dominant Catholic religion, a shift in identity and social groups would begin to arise from these new granted rights, connecting it back to the AP theme (IS).
