Planck's law, proposed by German physicist Max Planck in 1900, represents the spectral density of electromagnetic radiation emitted by a black body in thermal equilibrium at a given temperature (T). He also formulated an equation that allows us to calculate the energy of photons given their frequency, as well as formulating the "Planck Constant," which links the amount of energy a photon carries with the frequency of its electromagnetic wave. His theory revolutionized human understanding of atomic and subatomic process, and the Planck Constant is an important quantity in quantum physics.
