He was a diplomat and a courtier, and an important author in the Renaissance. He wrote a book called Book of Courtier, about social guidelines for ladies and gentleman. It also involved the ideal courtier and questions on the ideas on couteirs. the importance was the long-term effect of society's ideas of courtier.
