The quantum model of the atom was the model resulted by many discoveries made by many scientist. Bohr's model was good at explaining how simple atoms behave, however, it didn't explain the more complex atoms. This model shows that particles sometimes show wave like properties. The quantum model of that atom proposed many things, that the atoms don't move around the nucleus in an orbit, it isn't possible to find the exact location of an electron, the most likely location of an electron is based on energy, energy levels are split into four sublevels each one is made up of several pairs of electrons called orbitals. and this model shows that electrons move randomly in electron clouds called orbitals.
