Attempt for a cure (28 jun 1915 ano – 23 jan 1920 ano)
Descrição:
Since this was such a new disorder, many people were trying to come up with a cure for it and the methods used were not very humane. This is evident because in Queens Square in London, Lewis Yealland tried to treat his patients who had been experiencing muteness or paralysis symptoms through electric shocks. Not only would this not help the patients but would potentially make their PTSD worse.
