Massachusetts Bay Colony was established in 1630 in the present day east coast. Governor John Winthrop and Governor Tomas Dudley with a group of 1000 Puritan refugees. They were from England. The colony was founded because the Puritans wanted religious freedom. The colony ended up successful. (7 jan 1630 ano – 3 dez 1630 ano)
