Work at a VC-funded startup (1 ago 2010 ano – 1 mar 2011 ano)

I take a job at NuScale as an Applications Engineer.

I work on iEng, a product lifecycle management system built on top of Siemens Teamcenter, to enforce engineering workflows such as document reviews and approval.

The engineers hate using iEng but management loves it. I develop an online training program and hold workshops to make it easier to use and understand. Almost everyone at the company goes through my training exercises. I also take their feedback and configure better workflows for different teams.

Our primary investor is thrown in jail for running a ponzi scheme and all our assets are frozen. We're furloughed.

After finding new investment money, we're offered our jobs back but I decide instead to go to school full-time to finish my Computer Science degree.
