The Siege of Málaga witnesses the Muslims in their struggle to defend the important seaport of from falling into the hand of the Catholic monarchs while being besieged terribly for four months by the Christian Crown, Ferdinand. Despite their dreadful circumstances, the Muslims refused to accept the offer of surrender given by Ferdinand since they could not come into agreement with the terms provided. The event is among the important occasions in Muslim history since the loss of Malaga did not only gave a serious blow to Granada as their main seaport had fallen into the possession of the Christians, but also gave impacts to the population itself as the people were brutally enslaved and killed.
