In that period one of the bases of the economy was agriculture and in some regions they had better conditions for the development of systems of irrigation that produced better agricultural results, as it was in the banks of the rivers and lakes. This period is marked by the emergence of large political systems marked by large cities such as Tula or Tenochtitlan
