This major war encompassed most of the world against the Nasi regime. Adolf Hitler was the leader of this regime and one of his driving factors of the war was to get rid of the Jews. The Holocaust killed around 6 million Jews and imprisoned countless others. In comparison, there are only 15.7 million Jews in the world today. Hitler's motives had Christian motives behind it, this is most likely due to the way Jews were viewed over the past several centuries and the violent ways the catholic church was imposing their rule where they went. Trying to force people to convert and the negative views towards Jews.
