The Dyfrynian tribe of Kartoz engages in three separate conflicts with the Iorináreth over disputed terriories in northern Biára, which contains valuable oirán mines that both sides wished to exploit. The Kartozians were eventually defeated and driven back, forced to migrate further north into Cadocár.
